BACONE TRACK BLOWS THROUGH KANSAS

Austin, Texas native Jacael Davis fosbury flops over the bar. He tied for eighth place with teammate Mark Davis and a jumper from U.M.C. Davis, who also competed in 110 meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump. Senior Emanuel Wiley goes airborne and places third in the high and triple jump. He now leads the NAIA with his long and triple jump numbers.
Freshman Chaney Porter jumps over the bar at 1.43 meters (4.7 feet) and sets a personal record in the long jump of 4.91 (about 16 feet). She was the only woman who took part in Wendy's/PSU Opening Track Meet.
Senior Jamal Muphey sprints ahead of unattached Collin Swanagan to receive first place in the 100 meter dash. Muphey currently ranks sixth in the 100 meter and seventh in the 200.  Bacone heads back to Texas this Saturday, for a the North Texas Invitational Track & Field Meet at Fouts Field.
