Senior Brian Ivy runs in the 400-meter dash and placed eight out of 57. Ivy's overall performance and complete results of Saturday's Bobby Lane event help prepare Bacone for their next track meet in Pittsburg, Kan. (Pittsburg State Invitational). Emanuel Wiley jumps 14.52 m in the triple jump and earned third place. Wiley, is one of three Bacone track members to already qualify for NAIA Outdoor Nationals.
Jamal Murphy sprints to the finish line in the 100-meter dash received second getting in his heat and 19th overall. Besides Wiley, Murphy has also qualified 2012 NAIA Outdoor Nationals this May. Emmaunel Birdens hurdle his way to nationals by running a 54.46 in the 400- meter hurdles. Birdens is one of six Bacone track team members to receive All American at the NAIA Indoor Nationals.
