Senior Jamal Murphy placed seventh in the NAIA national 200-meter dash last year. Bacone opens its outdoor track season March 24 at the University of Texas (Arlington).
 Senior  Samuel Cuffey sprints at the Indian Bowl track during Monday afternoon's practice. Bacone has four more track meets before indoor nationals.
Senior Juanita Hollands works towards another appearance to indoor nationals March 1 in Geneva, Ohio. She broke the 60-meter school record Jan. 20 with a time of 7.80 at Missouri Southern (Joplin). Hollands also holds the school record for the 100 and 200 meters.
