For the ninth consecutive year, the Center for Christian Ministry will sponsor the Holiday Food/Toy Drive.
The goal has always been to provide over 100 holiday meals and/or toys to the Muskogee community.

Bacone College’s Criminal Justice Society hosted a multitude of students and community members Thursday to attempt to break the world record for the largest Native American round dance and the world record for breaking water balloons on a person’s body in one minute – and they succeeded at both. Despite the frigid weather, the Center for American Indians’ annual pow wow exceeded all expectations.
Unlike the previous years, it was held on campus in front of the Kiva House.
This year included an installment of an Indian fair, stickball tournament, horseshoe throwing competition, and many other festivities as well.

Thursday was a special night for past and present American Indian tribal princesses to gather and welcome a new addition.
The 2014-15 Miss Indian Bacone pageant was held at Bacone’s Memorial Chapel, and showcased Native American culture.
